POSITION
‍

Reporting to the Technical and Production Management, the selected candidate will be responsible for the winemaking operations of the group’s wineries based in Romania and Bulgaria, overseeing the entire winemaking project and coordinating all activities and winery staff.The main responsibilities for this role will include:

Defining the overall winemaking project and individual product lines, with the support of external consultants and in accordance with company strategies;
Planning and organizing the internal processes of the group's wineries based in Romania and Bulgaria, overseeing facilities and equipment, and optimizing human resources across various sites;
Maintaining current quality and system certifications, and implementing any future certifications deemed necessary;
Providing technical support for company investments (winery equipment purchases, plant infrastructure, maintenance).

REQUIREMENTS
‍

We are looking for a winemaker with at least 5 years of experience in technical and managerial roles, preferably gained in well-structured wineries with a strong focus on quality.From a technical-professional standpoint, the following requirements are essential:

Degree in Viticulture and Oenology or equivalent training in the field;
Knowledge of winemaking processes and technologies;
Operational proficiency in English.
We also consider skills related to sustainability and innovation to be very important, particularly a strong inclination towards using digital tools to manage daily activities in the winery and in the vineyard.

Regarding personal qualities, the ability to plan and organize production processes according to quality and economic objectives is important, becoming a point of reference for all technical staff across the various wineries, successfully guiding them towards operational excellence.
